History
A tradition of excellence

The Cellino Group was established in the 1960s by Ercole Cellino, who bravely started a new business and was the founding father of a great family adventure.
The first company of the group was the Stipar SpA, a milling company founded in Sanluri (in the province of Cagliari). It was the beginning of an important industry, which marked the history of Sardinia.

Careful management of the company and enterprising production and distribution investment policies have made the Cellino Group one of the island's leading companies. It is also one of the best milling industries in Italy. It can rapidly respond to changes in the market and is gaining an increasingly solid reputation as a reliable and competitive company.

The pasta factory

The pasta factory was started in 2001 by Alberto and Lucia Cellino the natural outcome of a production process. The group has always been committed to valorising the cereals grown locally.

The company has grown and, according to recent information (data from 31/10/2008), the pasta production is 65,000 tons per year.

Di Sardegna makes its own brand, as well as pasta for other 20 brands.

Our pasta is available in almost every store in Sardinia, proving that it is a popular product. Its success in the rest of Italy is stimulating and encouraging for all the team, that is constantly committed to making the products successful.

Long pasta

Pasta Di Sardegna is made from a precious mixture of the best durum wheats in the world. Some of these wheats come from our sunny island, giving the pasta its unique and greatly appreciated taste.
Extra special care is given to the drying process during the production of our long pasta. To ensure the good quality of the product, the humidity and the air flow must constantly be monitored. These factors are linked to the quality of long pasta during the cooking process.
