Honey

Honey is a food substance that bees produce from the nectar of blossoms or secretions of living parts of plants, which they collect, transform, combine with substances own and lay in their combs. Occur numerous exchanges by a bee to another, within the hive, allowing a gradual ripening and enrichment of enzymes that are derived from glandular secretions of the bees themselves.
The main components of honey are fructose, glucose, water, other sugars and other substances, including organic acids, minerals, enzymes, herbs and more. Honey is a food of high nutritional value and easily digestible. Glucose provides energy for immediate use, fructose is metabolized in the liver and constitutes an energy reserve. One hundred grams of honey providing 320 calories and a high sweetening power. Crystallization is a natural process that depends mainly on the composition and temperature. If the content of glucose is high will be faster. The low temperatures inhibit it.
